xperia u battery drain

bought xperia u in july !!

after few days was exoperiencing heavy battery drain !!

the most battery was consumed by android os !!

what is this thing ??

and how to stop it from draining my battery !! plzz help me out !! its killing me

the battery would only last for 8 hrs max !!

and all battery draining things are off

Okies..first uninstall Macfe, its battery killer and some unused apps which is run background like ram booster, cpu optimize, apps killer..etc etc..

If all going to righ then dowmload this https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.latedroid.juicedefender&feature=search_result

open apps and chnage mode to "aggresive"

That's all..

Note: Remember some apps is battery killer...be carefull

i dont have any of such things installed in my phone .....!!

Remove you battery for 5 mins and reinsert it.. if not work then you should contact SONY care..

Dear zeorock, i am not android developer so how can i suggest you deeply??.. BTW you said "heavy drain battery" that's mean its serious prob of battery so its better for contacting sony care.. afterall no solution getting after some normal trick..

You can updated your phone with recent update .184  or repair your phone with PCC

Dude u r realy lucky ur battery lasted for 18 hrs!! 

If i leave my phn on standby so it may last that 18 hrs

My battery last for just 8 -9 hrs max

I updated my phn still no chng!! 

N also tried repairing earlier but it used to show software not found maybe android 2.3.7 is available

The last option is left for me is the service centre!!
