xperia tablet z USB problem

Hi,

I have problem with my xperia tablet Z (SGP311), it is not recognizing USB. When I tried to charge the tablet using microUSB port, a red exclamation mark with a message 'USB devices disabled error' appears and it's not charging. I tried also to connect it to laptop and nothing come, so I can't install PCC, USB debugging option is also not available. This problem appeared two days ago after I updated the system to android 4.3. Any body has suggestion to resolve this problem?

Hi and welcome to the community! Since you're new please be sure that you have checked out our Discussion guidelines.

I would first of all suggest that you try with another charger/cable. You can also try to blow on the contact if there may be some dirt on it that interferes. 

If the problem persists, you can try to make a factory reset if you go to settings > backup and reset > reset to factory settings. 

If that doesn't help, I suggest that you have your phone examined by a service center. Please contact your local Xperia support team for more information:

I have the same issue can I buy a port to resolve rather than go to expense of replacing USB port????
