Xperia SP Wont Switch On+Does Not Connect To PCC/SUS

Went to use my Xperia SP this morning (Friday 13th Aug) and screen wouldn't fully switch on, would just light up slightly. Used the Button under the cover at back of the phone to switch off, after which the phone will not swtich on.

Have tried the up arrow with power button and down arrow with power button no result.

Have tried to connect the phone to both PCC and SUS but it will not register the phone at all.

There are no lights or vibrations when trying any of these things. Its pretty much dead

Any suggestions?

sorry to hear that . I've never experienced this issu wuld suggest you take it to a sony centre to get the handset looked at

you have few options, I had a similar situation with my Xperia Z 

1) take it to a sony repair center

or 

2) connect your phone to a wall charger > then press and hold power & volume up for 5 seconds 

if that doesn't work then 

3) connect your phone to a wall charger > press and hold power & volume up for 10 seconds > the phone will vibrate 3 times, the LED should turn red, let your phone charging for couple of hours, this COULD delete EVERYTHING on your phone, pictures, music, sms, etc.

Hi Tried 2 and 3 and now i get a red light for a short time when i plug it in to power. Apart from that nothing has changed. I guess i will have to take it to a sony repair center

Pop open the back cover hold down the off button and try to connect to Sony update service to repair phone's software
