drops internet connection non-wifi

my xperia sp drops edge connectivity. once dropped it needs a reboot only. the calls work fine. going into aeroplane mode and back does not work. if i switch to 3g, the 3g internet connectivity works fine. but switching back to 2g is problem until reboot. happens about once a day.

Must be a network problem. Check with your provider if there's any network upgrades happening around your locality.
