Xperia SP wake up button

Anybbody here having problems with the wake up button? i just updated to the lates software built of xperia SP but im really bothered with the wakeup button. Everytime my phone goes to standby mode, i cant open the screen using the wakeup button/power button unless i press it for more than 5seconds until the shut down screen pops up.

It sounds like the firmware did not load correctly when you rant the latest update. With this being the case I would advise reloading the firmware via the below steps:

1. Download the PC Companion software from http://www.sonymobile.com/gb/tools/pc-companion/
and install it on your PC.
2. Install and open PC Companion then select Support Zone.
3. Phone Software Update.
4. Start.
5. Repair Phone
6. Continue
7. Accept data removal
8. Next
9. Wait for prepare
10. Select Phone
11. Follow the connection steps
