I have had a nightmare with my SP. Its been back to SONY and EE several times and each time comes back the same. This forum is last resort before I take a hammer to the worthless piece of junk.
Issue is that occassionally, perhaps every 3rd or 4th call I receive I can see who is calling and the phone rings but I cannot accept or reject the call. The screen seems to be frozen. Even when the calling party hangs up....well I assume after 5 minutes they have hung up...the phone continues to ring. Only way to stop it is to take the back off and press the reset button. That button is almost worn out its been used so much!
Imagine the issue happening in the car on the motorway where you have to listen to it ringing through the car stereo until you can get off at the next junction to reset it.
The phone also occassionally locks up when receiving SMS but less common.
It also resets itself (presumably because its found an issue) at least once a day, often more.
SONY have replaced the motherboard and fiddles with the software many times but still the same issue. I only have a bare minimum of apps on there since it came back last, such as Facebook, Whatsapp and configured the mail for my corporate Outlook.
Any advice most welcome.
