Just keeping this topic on top until we get something from Sony. I bought this phone mainly cause it looked promising on the camera side and its just not good enough
Xperia SP has the worst camera ever...seriously what an epic fail from Sony!!! 8 megapixels you must be kidding me!? Sony should better release an update about this or they'lĺ lose many customers. Well, at least one: me! Don't buy Xperia SP if you intend to take pictures with it!
Not only images but videos are also noisy and only few people noticed that. Even phonearena and gsmarena didn't mentioned that but trusted reviews And some other site mentioned about the noisy video quality.
Hei Sony wats with yu guys....my xperia sp camera **bleep**....just bought it 3 months ago....frm the first day itself camera **bleep**....a 5mp phone camera shots better picture than my sp.....very dissapointed in buying your phones.....exmor rs superior auto bravia engine.....bull**bleep**ing...want a phone from Sony...the real SONY WAY....but pls do something bout it
the images are so bad with xpeeria sp evn a low range phone is better it is never like 8 mp picture too much noise moreover when i try to take macro shots it focuses properly bt when i hit the shutter the image is blurred why does it focus when it can not click clearly
To be honest, i didnt own a sp but i think the reason for this issue is becoz of the software, i dont think exmor rs is that bad, right. So maybe the next 4.3 update they might fix this and add a little burst mode like they do the magic for xperia l, i will consider buying it even i broke.
