The flickering dimming was driving me crazy, so I unchecked the "Adapt to lighting conditions" in Display>Brightness, and now it dims but in a smooth way instead of in the old flickering way. Hope this helps! :smileysmileythumbsup:
Unchecking auto brightness doesnt fix my screen flicker either.
Setting brightness at 75% or less seems to make it not so visable unless you really look for it..
Still annoying tho, if the new update doesnt fix it should i;
1. Root and get kitkat 4.4
2. Get a Nexus 5
3. Get a Z2
Opinions please
For me .266 update introduced a major issue where DUALSHOCK controller connects and functions properly with OTG cable and also reports that controller will function wirelessly once OTG cable is removed. However once OTG cable is disconnected, phone does NOT connects DUALSHOCK controller wirelessly. The bluetooth device list in settings does not even show a wireless controller.
This wireless functionality use to work before i upgraded to .266 update recently. Its not good SONY! With new update they may have fixed previous issues but have introduced new in lieu of previous issues. If any one is also facing this issue or have a solution to it please let us know.
I thought sony makes only good phones i am very disappointed with this phone. when i had android 4.1 it was fast but with a garbage camera. Now after updating to android 4.3 the phone is very very slow and stil the camera is more garbage even though i used sony updater and did a clean install. I am throwing this garbage phone. No sony xperia anymore
Hi,
I have update my phone to 4.3. i am not getting a screenshot nd how to change the resolution in camera...
@chinnari0931,
Screenshots - Press and hold "Power Button" and "Volume Down" at the same time for a few seconds.
Resolution - Camera app > Menu (3 dots), on my phone(XZ) is located on the top left corner(portrait).
Cheers.
you cant change resolution in superior mode...switch to manual and there you can
the screen not smooth after update 4.3.
