Xperia Privilege videos won't re-download after resetting phone.

Hello all

I bought the Xperia Z Ultra a few days ago, and it's a brilliant phone. I reset it earlier due to the screen not responding very well. I have re-installed my apps, but the Xperia Privilege app is having problems. I had an activation code that came with the phone, which I used when I first set it up. I downloaded the free movies that the code allowed me to have, but now that I have reset the phone, I cannot re-download the movies or play them. They appear in the account as purchased films, and they are listed in the movies app, but cannot be played. My phone is completely stock and has not been rooted or modded in any way.

I have sorted it out now.  I had to remove the movies first by uninstalling them, then re-install them.  I am doing that ,and it is working, albeit slowly, due to the app not allowing me to use 3g.  It is insisting that I download using wifi, even though I have an unlimited 3g data allowance, and my 3g data is several times faster than my wifi.  This is the op replying, but the system would not let me login on my original ID for some reason, so I had to create a new alias.

Odd that you can’t log in again, I will look into that. Regarding the wifi only, this is standard practice by most apps when you need to download a large file so that you are less likely to have an unstable connection/download which could lead to corrupt files.

I'm logged back in on my original ID now, so it must have been some sort of glitch.  The movies finished downloading last night and they are all working fine now, thank you for your help.

On another note, is there a way to add lyrics to music in the Walkman app?  I can add lyrics to music on wmp, but I cannot get them to display on the music tracks.  Is there a setting or an app I need to do this?

the issue mentioned above - is that why i can't redeem my movies over 3g?  i havent set this phone up for wifi and dont need to so guess i wont be able to download the movies?

Yes tommo123. The movies can only be downloaded via wifi. It's not my preferred option as my wifi connection struggles to get to 3mbps, whereas my 3g connection reaches between 10 and 20mbps.
