Hi ottobre

If you don't mind can you share some ringtone apps that you are using. Because some apps use lot of battery power and some time some apps couse to have a lag when using the phone.

Any way thanks for the contribution.

Hi islam

OK.... I need some clarifications about your solution.

1) In your country etisalat network operator; did they use USSD service? (If you don't know about this service plz visit http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Unstructured_Supplementary_Service_Data)

2) If I change to some other network operator and re-change to my previous operator then what happen? Will the problem solve or re-excites?

frnds..i have found a workaround for this problem..the issue is because of the USSD code running after we make a call. So what we can do is set default notification tone to silent and keep separate notification tone for your text messages, email, fb notifications, gtalk etc by individually going into the setting of the respective apps. It will work fine after that. The defect is not a Sony one. It is present in all android ICS devices and hence it is google to be blamed.

Hi therualex,

Thanks for the solution. But how do i keep separate notification tone for text messages, email fb etc. Becouse some apps like yahoo mail app doesnot have a setting to set the notification tones.

Do I need to install separate app to set separate notification tones for thoese text messages, email fb etc.If so can you recomend a good app for set notificaiton sound separately for each app that I have installed.

Hi Nalee, well I don't use yahoo mail app so cannot comment on that. but most apps like whatsapp, gmail, gtalk(now hangout) have their own separate notification setting. just check carefully in the settings of the app, it might be there.

Hi therualex

Thanks for your help. However I just got the JB update for my phone. The built number is 6.2.A.0.400.

I'm very happy to say that all the bugs that are in the ICS have been fix in this JB update and hope you guys also update your XP to JB built number 6.2.A.0.400

Most of the people in this community have stated that there is a lag in the call log app. Yes I agree with that. There is a small lag compare to ICS. But it can be acceptable becuse JB is more heavy than ICS.

Thanks SONY.

How about the notification sound bug. I think it is still there.
