day b4 yesterday i updated my xperia p to ICS. till now all went good but just 10 min b4 notification ringtone doesn't seem to work, the phone only vibrates while notifying something(new message, or any popup....etc ). please help me out in this. tried changing my notification tone, set the volume to max but nthng worked for me.
hi friends!! I am here with an update on this notification problem. Fortunately from 3-4 days my phone notifications are sounding properly. I have not done anything new to my phone for this. I just only rebooted my phone whenever notifications didn't sound. and since 3-4 days I am not facing any kind of this issue. May be New ICS takes some time to work properly after an update.
i would recommend to all victims that they should reboot their phone whenever this happens. May be after some days it will be solved automatically like mine.
I am not at all concluding that only this could be the solution but in my case it worked out for me, May be its a temporary solution for me also but until it works, let me enjoy my phone notifications.:smileywink: praying for its(notification sound) long life.:smileywink::smileyhappy:fingers crossed.:smileylaugh:
again my notification tone is not sounding!! that was for only 3-4 days. Please sony fix it ASAP. its very annoying to reboot your phone after every 3-4 hours just to make your phone audible.
Hi,
I am also using this phone(Sony Xperia P) for the past 1 month and facing the same problem means the notification tones are automatically getting silent. I called the customer support center and they are saying me to do the factory reset and then re-install all the applications, but I read at the thread that it will be useless if I do the same, sp please let me know if there is any solution for this problem.
Thanks.
Even I too have same problem, can any one help me out .
This is due to some app.
For once my notification were also gone, but i uninstalled the recent installed apps , which i assume after which problem started.
the updated version of TALKBACK, interfere with notifications. try removing apps, which you least use or are less popular. and observe for changes in notification problem.
After removing any app claer the cache using APP2SD app, and restart the phone.
mostly the apps which provide mods or additonal functionality to company launchers sometime cause problem.
in my case it was the call recording app.
I did factory rest also but no change , waste of time doing it .
I do not have a problem with notification sound but my notification led is not working anyone with similar issue:smileysad:
Same problem with my Xperia P as well. Notifications stopped working. I've done a factory reset & re-installed the firmware via SUS as well..please help
