Xperia Neo V doesn't run Modern Combat 2 ?!?!

Hello there, at first, sorry for my bad English.

Lets be short: I have an Xperia Neo V. Whem I searched Android Market for Modern Combat 2, the site said that this game is compatible with my device (Xperia Neo V - MT111a).

So, I bought the game. Downloaded it. Instaled it.

When I run the game for the first time, it tried to download the data files. But soon it showd a message saying that the game is not compatible with my phone, and suggesting me to ask for a refund!!!! How can you people explain this mess? Android Market says that it is compatible, and game itself says it's not?!?!?!?!?!?! What do I need to do to install it??????????

I'm not upset about my money loss, I don't care about money; all I want is to know if, someday, or somehow, Xperia Neo V users will be able or not to know what is and what is not compatible with their devices!!!

And although I know that this can be a problem between Android Market and Gameloft mainly, I think that Sony Ericsson does have its share of responsability in this case - and should, at least, try to contact Gameloft and Android Market to put an end on this issue!

Again, sorry for my bad English, and hope all of you can understand my request - and hope someone answer me.

Thanks in advance, and regards.

you should ask the gameloft devs on this... i doubt if this is sony ericsson's fault..

Everybody has the right to doubt everything... But the fact is that, as a costumer, I am the weak point on this rope, and I am with no help from no one!!! And Sony, as a giant manufacturer, and as the manufacturer of my cellphone, needs to keep the seller-client relationship alive and healthy! Sony needs to care about not broking that rope! Sony has the duty (as a manufacturer) of making their costumers and clients happy, or at least giving them some explanations about this and every other issues concerning their products!

About "ask Gameloft devs", I agree, and I have contacted Gameloft already - but, as a single-weak-no-power-no-money-no-prestige-human-being, I have no influence as I would have if I was in charge of Sony's Development Team or if I was Sony's Public Relationship Manager or something like that! It is much easier for Sony (as giant) to contact Gameloft, or Android Market (other giants), about this issue, than for me (a worm) or for any other single owner of this Xperia Neo V device, don't you agree?

And, by the way, there are many (many, many!) Xperia Neo V owners wanting for this issue to be solved too! That is not an isolated case!

To put things simple and clear: How can one explain that people can buy the game on Market (like me, believing and being informed that the game is compatible with my device) but can't play the game after installed, while people that downloaded the same game on illegal filesharing sites are showing, on Youtube, this game running on the same device as mine?????? I am pissed of, with a ton of reasons!!!

I sincerely hope that someone on Sony team cares to give me some satisfaction about this (like this "Martha" did care about stopping this thread: http://talk.sonyericsson.com/message/123982#123982). By the way, where are you, "Martha"?

(Again, sorry for my bad English).

hmm i undertsnad your frustration.. spending money , and not getting anything in return ( i read that you dont have a problem in that but still it cant be ignored ) also spending money knowing that there is a way to to have the same thing without soending irritates one more...

i fully understand...

and yes i agree one person cannot influence this... i also forgot that other people has this issue.. the reason they are able to play the games are because they have those modded apk files which are compatible with neo v..

i mean they made some changes to the file so that every neo was able to play that...

i have read comments in different applications , and users reported the sae like you did... and it was not just the neo they were facing the problem with but other androids too...

if its the phones fault the definately SE should fix this....

I've been checking Gamelofts website and they seem to show your phone model as compatible with this game. I suggest that you contact Gameloft support to investigate this.

From the phone's side of things, make sure that you're running on the latest version of the software.

I've already contacted Gameloft about this game. After my first post on this thread, they sent to me a link with ANOTHER version of the apk, and I downloaded it, installed it, and I am downloading the data files, and right now I have no wifi to finish the download, so I am not yet able to say if it works - but, at least, they have a costumer care center that actually works!

Gameloft promptly answered me and gave me a solution for this specific game issue; what Sony Ericsson needs to do is to give their costumers (like me) a solution for this issue in a way that each costumer doesn't need to ask for help on every single game!!! Again, my English is bad, but I will try to be more clear: Sony Ericsson needs do give their costumers more "comfort", making one single and big move, contacting Android Market and Gameloft (and possibly other softwarehouses) to fix this compatibility issue once for all, giving an end to this irritating situation.

Remember: there are thousands of Xperia Neo V users in this little world, and many of them surely are facing this same trouble. What if everyone of them begin a new thread on this same matter on every forum on the net???? It would be a mess, don't you agree?!

And remember about the money loss too - despite the fact that I said before that I don't care about it, but in the big picture, it would be a lot of money spent on nothing by all Xperia Neo V users! This is a serious matter, take care of it, please!!!!!!

(And, again and again, sorry for my bad English - if anyone doesn't understand my thoughts, please ask me for more explanations).
