Xperia Arc S- Heating Up after prolonged Internet/Game Usage

Have notice that Xperia Arc S get warm after prolonged internet usage or when playing games for a long period. This happens to the back of the phone. just got this phone last month. Is there something that can be done

that's normal, so there's nothing that can be done, either after you use the phone for a while or if you charge the phone, it will get hot.

has there been  shutdowns or restarts related to xperia arc s

yes but after the latest update they are gone
