I'm sorry to hear that, contact your Local support as it could be a hardware issue, does it work while on safe mode ?
what about Settings > apps > all > camera > clear data > restart the phone?
I wonder how much commission they are getting from samsung and apple to make such ridiculous claims.
Contact Amazon regarding this, they might be able to help you, was this phone "new" or used? I don't think you should assume that this is a Sony problem since it was bought through Amazon, with that said, have you unlocked the bootloader? dropped the phone? exposed the phone to water, rain, etc?
