I very much someone can help me in here.
I bought my phone in Juli in Mexico, after using Iphones for years I thought its time for a change. Always liked Sony products so I gave it a try. First off the sd card slot didnt work, it just didnt recognize any card. I didnt have time to repair cause I was of to work abroad and thought I can fix it after. It slipped from 1 meter high, the screen broke. I thought, annoying, very fragil but I guess my fault. So I took it to a repair shop in London.
Back in Mexico it kept working fine till the back screen broke in my pocket for no reason. Three days later the front screen started to work poorly till it totally stoped working completely. Going to my provider and the sony flagship stores they said they can could repair, but some paper was missing that these phones have. How is a paper necessary in digital device for me to repair it?
so no luck. They recommended me to talk directly with sony support. After 14 days and 8 phone calls they send me the voucher to send in my phone with UPS. After 14 days in service and 8 phone calls, I got an email asking for my apartment number to mail me my phone back. It arrived the next day in exact the same state as I send it. With it a dagnostic showing it doesnt last in pressure. Calling again the customer support they told me that they could not repair it - I should talk with the provider. After telling them that I want to pay for a repair, I am not asking for warranty for the screen problems, which seems hopeless as we can read in theses forums, they told me to call back in a month, cause right now there are no parts to repair it! Is this the current service of Sony. I feel I made a mistake switching brands.
After 7 weeks I have no solution to get my phone fixed, even I would pay for it.
