Hello all,
I have Xperia M single SIM phone.
Sometimes when I am using the apps, like games, browser etc, suddenly phone reboots. After that phone won't camp on the network. I need to keep the phone off for some time and switch ON again to get it registered with the network. I thought that SIM is the problem and I changed the SIM, but the problem persisted.
Thinking that its hardware issue, I took it to service center. THey returned me the phone in one day saying that it was a software problem and it is fixed. Things worked fine for a week or so. Now again I am facing the same reboot problem :(. I didn't change/upgrade the software that service center guys provided. So it seems that problem is not fixed properly.
I can take it to service center again but its really painful and inconvenient for me to do so. Can you please tell me what is the software fix that is made so that I can apply it by myself.
Please suggest..
Here are some phone details.
Model: C1904
Android version: 4.1.2
Kernel version: 3.4.0
Build number: 15.1.C.2.8
Waiting for reply.

What about trying a different SIM card?
Hi Alexdon,
As I mentioned in my previous post, I tried with different SIM card as well but same problem persist even with new SIM card.
Sorry,I skipped it I guess. What about if you try a software repair? If still having issues,it should be hardware.
ok.. I guess I will have to visit sony centre again..
What did you figure out? My phone has been doing the same thing for a couple of weeks.
Sony service center changed motherboard. now the problem is fixed.
