I really want this too. I was hoping they would release it around the time they release the ICS update so that I could use it to get started on a custom JB build. I don't have any experience building custom ROMs, but I was betting the source code would be a good starting block.

I'm waiting on a response from the Dev guys.  This was the last reply I got this morning from them:

 Hi James,
our team in Beijing that has been working on Xperia ion is unfortunately out of office on training today. I’ll follow up with them first thing tomorrow.

Just got this email:

Hi James,
the source code archives that you were interested in have been sent to our service provider for publication. It usually takes about 2 days before an archive is available for download once we have requested publication so please check http://developer.sonymobile.com/wportal/devworld/search-downloads/opensource in a couple of days.
Please let us know if you cannot find the archives by Friday so we can look into it.
Also, if it is urgent and if you have a drop-box or similar we could drop the archives there to speed things up.

Well it's up now, but I can't download it. I'm trying to download it directly to my Ion, but it keeps telling me download failed both on wifi and 4G LTE.

Did you switch your browser to desktop mode?  in settings on stock browser
