xperia cannot be updated

Hi,

My xperia works odd with my computer, it doesn't want to download files from PC, says copying failed and so on.

I'd read I should install and run this: http://www-support-downloads.sonymobile.com/Software%20Downloads/Update_Service_Setup-2.11.12.5.exe, but I cannot do an update, it also fails! how to fix it?

I work with ms windows 7 and andorid 4.0.4 (official sony update)

Could you please state the error you get when trying to transfer files or update the software?

Or even better could you post some screenshots?

That would help to troubleshoot the problem.

I tried to re-upade device on another computer and it worked out. the thing lies somewhere in my operating system. the problem appeared some day (suddenly) with uploading files to phone from computer, don't know why, I could still develop android via eclipse and usb, though. after re-update the problems still occurs on my laptop but it's definitely not phone blame. if someone knows how to fix it, let me know.

if someone bothers with similar problem like mine, should follow this instruction before sending device to service.
