Cover doesnot fully close

Hi,

I just got an Xperia Go and are very happy with it, but...

It looks like the cover doesnot fully close and now I worry if it is watertight now.

Should I be worried?

Just apply a strong press on the front of the cover where it appear that is not closed well u will hear a sound and u will feel that it stucked where it should be..

The problem that stays is that when I press the back the side (with the earphone jack) opens up again. That side just does not really seams to close.

Any tips?

I have the same problem, on the bottom and close to the volume rocker the cover is not fully closed.  And of course, water gets in to the back, but i saw some review and they said it is normal to get some water in the back.

So is this a production problem? Should we complain with Sony or go to a Sony Store?

You can plunge it to water even without back cover. Back cover is kind of decoration here

minutes after opening the brand new Xperia go

I noticed the the side with the volume buttons will not close fully,

what Else should I expect in the phone.

I have Xperia Ray and it is a very well built little mobile

I was having the same problem but then I knew how to close it:

first step:

make sure that it stucked from the start of it.

2nd step: aply a strong pressure by ur fingers on it inward

last step:while u r pressing inward move it downhile:

U can see that it is fully closed the problen is not from the cover

It closes, but after awhile it "opens" again...

But if what @Agnes says is right, i see no problem...
