try to connect your sd card in a PC, reformat it there, make sure the file system is fat 32

Looking at the last post, I did not see any solid answer to this issue.  My Xperia c5 ultra is brand new and I am getting the exact same issue come up everytime I put in a couple of 32GB micro sd card that have been reformatted and work well on my PC and a android 4.4 mobile phone I use for the office  These micro SD cards were formatted in all three different formats on windows NFTS, FAT32 & exFAT, and each time the same process and error shows up when the micro sd cards are installed into the Xperia C5 Ultra, 1. waits awhile before the sd card is recognized.  2. The micro sd icon shows up with a "checking for errors" that takes about 5-10 mins. then 3.  "sd card is damaged try reformatting".   It seems as if the app is recognizing the micro sd card, but not able to access either card.  Is there a link to where I may find why this is occurring and what the is the fix?  Please Help, Thank you.

@Hawkszq you can use just fat32 formatted cards, can you try formatting the card using the phone rather than the computer?

What kind/class of SD card is?
