I have the new firmware 4.0.1.A.0.238 LT15i updated via PCC today.

Seems snappier (wishful thinking).
3D panorama (Did not work yet for me).
3D gallery app.
Screenshots in power menu.
New time widget.
Facebook share integration stuff.
Swype keyboard.

Install it and you will see  5 folders

                                   Custom

                                   Drivers

                                   Firmwares

                                   Loaders

                                   X10Flasher_lib

take the firmware to the  "Firmwares" folder

click on Falsh

Press Ok

it will ask you to connect your phone on Flashmode (turn off your phone, press the back button, then connect the USB) press OK

If you have downloaded the LT15i_4.0.1.A.0.283_Generic Global.rar file which then when expands to a ftf file and used that, I believe that is the correct file

now its solved

i cleared the fb data..the logged in again..

and now i have images of all my fb contacts in my phone contatcs

i havent downloaded the genric one yet

i''ll do it 2moro..

and if uliwooly cant find the difference b/w the other version and the global version i'lll stick to this only :smileygrin:

and yeah fb issue is solved..

and so far no other problems

I noticed your build number is ending with 238 instead of 283.You may want to update it.
