XMP update...

hello there..the new build number 4.1.B.0.587 for xperia mini pro has come right??may i know hte pros and cons of the update?i lived in malaysia and i still dont get the update..im sure the update has released in my country..the other day i've rooted my xmp and know i have unrooted it..is this the problem that cause me not to get the update?can anyone share to me..thanx a lot mate

You should factory data reset Because factory data reset will fresh ur os..

Back up first,

go to settings and then go to privacy and then select factory data reset..

and another solution is,

Run Sony pc campanion and repiar ur phone...

i think then u will get update...

done with that..i've repair it with pc companin..still waiting for the update..

It's not out yet (for many countries)... ...i live in Finland and it's not yet available for my Xperia mini (st15i) and yes, i have stock ICS 4.0.4. I have never rooted my phone and i never will:smileywink:

one more thing that i noticed everytime i connect my xmp to the pc companion,it says that it cant access my phone memory bcause the sim card and the phone is locked...but when i check the setting both of them wasn't lock at all..

I think build 587 is not still available for Xperia mini. But I tested it on Live walkman which got the update. The phone have same CPU and RAM.... but works faster and the dial pad and phonebook works also faster. I hope that the newest build will do the same
