I read multiple reviews describing the X10 mini as a powerful multimedia phone.
In the first few days of owning my X10 mini (my first droid phone) I was quite impressed, but as I required to use it more, I found this phone quite useless – Settings are quite rare! Most things on the phone are set up in one way, if we want to do something different, it seems to be tough luck!
Did they release the software for this phone in 5 hours, or build it for 5 year olds?
Camera settings are as basic as can be with the only option being a small selection of profiles.
Timescape – Does anyone actually use and like this? It just seems to be something to talk about that sounds good, but in reality shouldn’t be a focal point at all.
File navigation, nope. That’s not to helpful is it…….
Music player, yikes, really? I must be missing something here…. No folder navigation here either? Not even within a music directory? Why does SE want to hold me back from simple file navigation so desperately? I just want to direct it to play folders! Not a giant list of artists or tracks!!
I’m really not sure how used to this SMS system I’m going to get – I don’t believe this change was ever required, talk about re-inventing the wheel! Was an inbox, outbox system really that wrong for all these years???
Whatever I want to do this phone seems to either A stop me, or B make me do it in a stupid unnecessary way.
Am I alone here or do we need some massive updates, FAST?
For me, if SE don’t sort some of this junk out, this will be my last SE device without a doubt – I’d like some control of my device.
