Armarra's thread on "iPhone 4 vs Experia X10" got me thinking ...
If I want information on iPhone apps or iOS, I can pick up a copy of MacWorld or the quarterly magazine "iPhone" (about USD 10). If I want info on the Blackberry, there is a magazine called Blackberry (I've seen only one issue, for USD 20, so I don't know if this intends to become a quarterly). I can get everything from a review of the history, various models, basic usage, an an overview of the app marketplace.
If I want a similar summary of the Android world, which would presumably give me current info on X10 apps ... well, there's no book or softcover magazine I've found so far. There are, of course, lots of "reviews" online (my Google search found 9.5 million pages), but only a few that I would trust for an overall view of Android with any reliability, say cnet.com or about.com
Does anyone know of a good website covering Android in some technical detail? Does anyone know of a good book or periodical that provides an overview?
