Why the adding contacts in the dialer while call is in progress not working?

While a call is in progress the adding contacts is not working and also no numbers are showing while i press a key in the dialer...i dont know why this is happening,...can anyone solve this problem??

Did you check if the same occurs in safe mode?

yes i checked it...

Try settings-apps-all-phone,force stop and clear data.Restart and check again.

Have you tried a software repair until now?

yes i already did it with Sony Update Service...well when i long pressed 0 the '+' sign came and both the options became active but no numbers are coming on the screen while i am dialing after pressing the plus sign...
