Whatsapp unread on badge doesn't appear

HI , 

When i installed Whatsapp on Xperia Z2 , the unread messages doesn't appear on the icon , i don't know what is going on .

it was working before on Galaxy Note 2 .

try to uninstall it and re install agian

Here also it doesn't appear. Looks like whatsapp doesn't support Xperia launcher for showing unread notification count.

Dear kanchuka ,

I uninstalled it before and install again , it's the same problem .

but when i check App info. , i found it's old version and didn't get update from store so i downloaded new version 2.11.418 manual from whatsapp website and transfer it to my device thru cable and install the new version but the same issue .
