Weird issue: Facebook and calender sync.

Hello,

I'm currently experiencing a rather unique issue; My calender on the Xperia Arc works perfectly and syncs with facebook without a problem, BUT one of my friends, actually a family members, birthday isn't showing in the calender. This occurs even though she is sync. with facebook, have entered her birthday on her page and that facebook is reminding me of her birthday in it's own overview of events, yet the calender seems to leave her out, which i deem a bit stupid for a smartphone, pun intended :smileysilly:!

Have any of you good users experienced anything like this, and do you have a way to make up for it, since I can't add her birthday manually?

umm maybe you have chenged some settings or something on the facebook page..

the other members listed in your family members.. do their birthday's shows up in your contacts or its just one particular person..?

That is what is the weirdest part, she is on the list of events on my facebookpage, and all other family members are added to my calender, she is the only one... and the day before and after her birthday two other people are present, figuring it is a bug on that date, but then why should it even show ANY form of event, which it does, it shows that a skiingtrip is occuring Maybe it is events ON that specific date that is bugged, it's january 23, btw xD

i dont have a clue.. but its certainly any setting which you forgot..

hmm but you are getting all events except her.. it is wierd

i dont have a clue... maybe just remove her from your family memebrs and then try.. you can always add her back anytime..right,, so you should try it..

Now, this is strange. Would have been more logic if no birthdays showed. Just one missing is odd.

Which software build number do you have in the phone? Have a look at Settings > About phone.

I am having the same problem. The birthday of 2 of my Facebooks friends is not synced with the calendar although they appear in the overview of events in facebook.

Build number 4.0.2.A.0.42
