As you don't have a gmail account your only option is to repair the phone on Sony Ericsson Update Service. This will reset the phone and you will lose all your data so I hope you have your contacts backed up to your SD card or via SE sync. The phones require you to have a google account so when you get it up and running for the first time I suggest that you enter one at that point. Also if its not a default setting by your carrier then don't use the pattern lock, its a pain in the rear! Just search on pattern lock on this site and see how many threads come up where people are locked out and have to do the reset.
