water proof problem

Hi;

I bought one Z3 compact phone . I went to the pool with my phone about 4 days ago. A total of ten minutes intervals in accordance with all the rules I take pictures into the water . Then I got out of the pool. And the phone was switched off. I called the Service . They said it would delete the data in my phone. If water enters into this phone ,why do waterproofing information in the ads and brochures ? Now what will happen data in my phone? Please help me find a path to a solution on this issue .

Thanks

I'm sorry to hear that, but if you didn't firmly closed all the covers or if there are cracks or any damage to the phone then water could permeate, with that said, contact your local Xperia Care and request a vacuum test; as for your data, if the phone doesn't turn on, there's nothing you can to back it up.

I closed all covers and did what I supposed.
this problem is about my phone, I think.
So I contacted the legal service in my country and I said " don't want to repair for it.  if I lost some important memory of my life, Sony must give one new phone like same one.  this time it must be more than stronger about water."
I hope take a good answer to my reasonable request.
