Warning - ICS Update Broke Hotspot and USB Tether

ST18a updated this afternoon to the second release of ICS (was using first release previous to this).

USB Tethering and Wi-Fi Hotspot are no longer working.  I can connect and get an IP address but no internet access.

This is real bad since this is a primary use for my phone.

UPDATE: Confirmed same behavior with a second laptop ... I can connect to the Wi-Fi hotspot on my phone but no internet access.

UPDATE: iPad via Wi-Fi Hotspot, same thing, gets IP address but no internet access.

So far only two persons have posted what operators their using. Please post what operator you're using. And yes I know that it did work running on GB.

I have the same problem since the installation of 4.0.4. Before the upgrade I was with the 2.3 and I never had any problem. My mobile is a Sony LT15i (xperia arc s). The built is 4.1.B.0.431. I am on the orange french network. The usb and wifi connection seems to be ok, but I have no internet access. The internet access still ok on the mobile.

I'm using an Xperia Mini Pro (SK17a) on Comcel (America Movil) in Colombia

The same,  hotspot features NOT working since ICS 4.0.4 upgrade. I used all the time on GB.

Thanks for any help.

After the instalation of the ICS the Tethering stop working on my LT15A.

I already tried with 2 different operators, with Claro Costa Rica and with Grupo ICE, it establishes the connection, but don´t share any data.

Using Orange Israel.

It's not an opperator problem that is for sure. Tried using an app called FoxDi which should enable Tethering on blocking operators and it didn't work. in fact, 40 seconds after the app tried to activate Tethering my phone crashed.

Besides, my wife phone (Galaxy S) is on the same network and Tethering works just fine.

ST18a  Ray on AT&T USA

This is not an operator issue.  I went into an AT&T retail store and put one of their fully functioning and provisioned SIMS in my phone and hotspot would still not work.

If the devs are working on the broke LED notification they should re-prioritize and focus on this.  LED notification is trivial compared to this.
