W508 memory stick micro problem

My phone type is W508.

Several days ago, the memory stick micro can't be detect by my computer. I was using a card reader at the time.

Then I tried to directly connect between the phone and the computer using cable data. It works. I choose data transfer.

But, somehow I can't access the mass storage. There's nothing to be seen when I choose it.I guess it isn't a problem?

Then last week, I want to tranfer another data and again directly connect it with the computer. (for the information: my computer has just been re-installed)

But, I can't transfer anything

Even the look of the content are so much different with the last time I access it.

What happen really? I don't understand and need clear explanation.

Can anyone help me, please?

I'm not sure I understand this part.

You've connected the phone directly to the computer, and although you can SEE the files in the memory card on your PC, you cannot transfer files (drag and drop), and the files that are ALREADY on the memory card are "different" then the files you access on the memory card when it is just inside the phone.

Is all that correct?

Well, the first time I've connected it, the name of the phone shows "W508". And when I click the icon, it shows folders which each contains my data: mp3 and photos. Everything is fine at the time. I done this about 2 or 3 times. 

Then I get my computer re-installed, and when I connected the phone to the computer, the APPEARANCE of the folders changed. There are no folders. When I click the icon, "W508", it shows the list of mp3 and photos all together. But, I can't copy-paste it. So, it's not the files that change, but the way the files being shown to me :smileygrin: and I still can't transfer it....

One more question: you said "drag and drop", while what I was doing "copy and paste". Is it the same thing? :smileygrin:

drag and drop & copy and paste are similar but not exactly, with copy paste you can either right click on the files or you can use Ctrl + C (copy) and paste Ctrl + V.  drag and drop you click and hold the botton and drag it somewhere else

maybe your phone or computer can't read your memory stick license
do you have an extra memory stick

format the phone to factory format (hard format) and uninstall driver or sony program from the pc . after finish all...

conect the pc with phone use cabel data and wait until u get the notification... XD
