Vibration issue?

Have a problem with vibration feedback. When I write a text message the phone vibrates at first, but after a number of characters the vibration dies. The phone stops vibrating when it rings and does not work Sony diagnostic test. To get the vibration alive again I need either to tilt the phone horizontal or shake it. That's not just right..have been trying to do several factory resets but it does not work. It must be a hardware problem?

Hi, I own a Xperia Z2 (D6503). It has the same problem. By doing some research i noticed that there are few more xperia models that have this issue mostly Z1/Z1 compact. Moreover i also discovered how to reproduce easily this failure. You have to hold your phone completely vertical and then use the keyboard whitout doing to much pressure and typing not to fast. It happens by pressing the buttons of the navigation bar in 1s intervals too. I think that this happens allways when you tap in  your phone WITHIN 1-1.5s INTERVAL anywhere (button or key) that cause haptic feedback to work AND HOLDING IT COMPLETELY VERTICAL. When the vibrator stops, it doen´t work with the notifications(calls,sms..) neither haptic feedback (keyboard nor navigation buttons) nor service test (##7378423##). Also by shaking it goes to normal again. My Z2 have repaired with a new vibrator change and still doing it and going to service again. Some say that all xperia Z(x) do it but i owned a Xperia Z before without any vibrator problems. Hope this help someone

I had the same issue with my z1c too and I believe it's a hardware issue. 

So that's what i do,

I bought a vibration motor and replaced the vibration motor, then this issue is gone.

I opened the back cover of z1c, when the original vibration motor stoped vibrating, I touched the vibration motor, I can feel the vibration motor was over heat.

The newly replaced vibration motor works fine, even it vibrats for a long time, it's not getting over heat.

Also I have the same problem ....... most others.
For the vibration was enough for me to tap next to the home button and beginning to work.
I sent him to the center z1 assistance by August 19 and I'm waiting for return. :smileyrolleyes::smileybroken_heart:
