Unable to use Facebook with Timescape

Post updating to the latest version of Facebook app via play store, facebook sync is not working when used with Timescape.

It displays the error stating "Could not update from Facebook".

All the other Timescape extensions like Twitter, etc are working fine.

Team, please look into this problem and update us.

Walkman and facebook don't work? o.O What's wrong with walkman? And just fyi facebook is a third party app, Sony has nothing to do with it, and neither does anyone seem to have problems with the facebook app.

So, is there any update on fix of Timescape for Facebook for non-ICS devices?

As mentioned earlier, one of the main functionalities of Xperia line phones is disfunctional for 2 months!?

And I say again, I'm not interested in any kind of ICS upgrade till the problem with dark and noisy pics is not solved, as well as speed and stability itself!!!

So, give us Timescape funcionality back, if that is a fix of only 200 kb what is the problem then?!

We need Timescape for ICS and GB as well!!!

Timescape stop working after FB (Facebook) 2.0 update

1) Download this file

3)Send "EventStreamPluginFacebook.apk" file to yourself via Gmail.

4)Open Gmail at your phone and install file.

5)Timescape fixed!

I tried to install this on my Miro but the install failed with the error "An existing package by the same name with conflicting signature is already installed".

The Facebook app works fine and it seems to have retrieved everyone's facebook profile picture into my contacts. It's just the timescape feed which isn't updating.

Just wanna tell you that today i could download the update from Google Play. Everything is working just fine.

My phone is Xperia Play (GB) and my country is Brazil.

Thank you so much! I did it exactly how you told (sending file to Gmail and open it at my phone) and the problem has been fixed.

What I don't understand is why Sony is unable to send an update worldwide solving this problem in all this months. Here's a chance to do things better.

Hi. I purchased Xperia Miro 3 months ago. I have been waiting for the TImescape Facebook resolution. I heared that sony has released the Timescape Update via Google Play Store.

I tried to update it from Google Play Store. But it shows me that you have Timescape Facebook extension already installed. How to update it to the newer version? It doen't show me any update option in Play Store for this application.

It still shows me the same error "could not update from facebook". Please help me to resolve this isssue.

Derek, I'm facing same problem in my Xperia Miro. I followed all the troubleshooting tricks as explained above. Unfortunately, nothing worked for me. Did you find any solution for this issue?

Still not got it to work I'm affraid. I emailed Sony support and they just said to wait for a fix. Seems to have been broken for 4 months now.
