Unable to use Facebook with Timescape

Post updating to the latest version of Facebook app via play store, facebook sync is not working when used with Timescape.

It displays the error stating "Could not update from Facebook".

All the other Timescape extensions like Twitter, etc are working fine.

Team, please look into this problem and update us.

Guys, do you have an update on the issue?? It was flagged over a month ago and we are still facing the problem with the facebook timescape feeds.

Surely it will not take this long to fix it.

And what about the firmware updates for Xperia U which was announced way back on Dec 3rd 2012 ...

None of the Xperia U users have received the latest update...

Bought an Xperia U yesterday. Same problem here Facebook does not work from Timescape. Neither does the homescreen widget for facebook status updates work. (It shows it's refreshing). Everything else seems in order

I can verify what Christopher has said. An update is being rolled out to fix the issue. There was an update in the Software Update section when I checked this morning. My Timescape is working fine now. I don't know if everyone will get it at the same time.

settings > about phone > software update

Now I just need Sony to speed up the delivery of firmware .54 and .74 soI can start enjoying my phone again.

I have no updates on the software update at all I bought my sony miro on the 18th January and my phone has been updated via Sony Bridge for Mac to the latest ICS and still the Facebook problem still persists. :S

I bought my Xperia U on January 17. After I did an ICS update from Gingerbread, this issue was bugging me like crazy. Twitter seems to works fine, but not facebook. It's not only with timescape, all of Facebook inside Xperia seems compromised- be it timescape, home screen widgets (none of them worked).

Today morning I booted the phone and opened the update center. There was this update named Facebook Timescape (0.2MB), under Updates, and NOT New Apps. After downloading and installation (and one more rebooting), things are pretty fine now. Everything works as it should.

My advice to everyone out there is that you just have to wait. Check for the update once a week, refresh the page once or twice if thaat helps. The fix is out there, you just have to be lucky enough to have it pop up one your phone, one fine morning, although I have no clue why this happens.

I have a question: is Timescape update for Facebook avaliable only for ICS, or for GB too.

I'm asking because I tried ICS and have the same problems with every version, no matter how it's installed, wiped cache, factory resseted... It's still laggy, camera is still extremely slow compared to GB with very dark pics in indoor use, it still freezes from time to time.

So, I downgraded to GB and was extremely satisfied with it till the moment the Timescape broke. So, I, and I believe many of other users, need the update/patch for Timescape on GB. I don't care about laggy ICS, I need a fully working phone. And by that I mean Timescape, no matter for ICS or GB.

And no, I don't want to have it after upgrading to ICS because I will loose a whole bunch of functionality, especially camera!
