unable to switch call

In sony xperia z1 i am unable to switch call or hold a call and and also making a conference call please help me how to solve this problem thank you

Hi there,

Boot the phone into Safe Mode and see if the problem persists.
Perhaps some app that you use causes the problem.

Also you can try:

Settings > Apps > All > Phone > Clear data/cache > Force stop > restart the phone and try again.
