Two problems

Hello,

I have just bought the Xperia P yesterday and there are two problems that really stand out to me.

The first one is that I am not able to upgrade to ICS, I have tried numerous methods but I'm still on 2.3.7.

The second problem is the Wi-Fi internet being terribly slow compared to my old phone in certain locations. E.g. when I'm in my bedroom I can barely open Google, and when I'm in the kitchen it (mostly) goes very fast, which is the opposite of my old phone (Nokia 5530 XpressMusic).

Can anybody help me with these issues?

Thanks for posting and welcome to the forum!

Have you tried using both PC Companion and Update Service when trying to update to Android 4?

If not, please try. You can find them for download on the links below.

Try that out first and then we'll be able to take the next step concerning your other question in the post.
