Transfer of data to SD card interrupted

Hi there,
My Xperia V is recognizing the Kingston Micro SDHC 32gb Class 4 card, I can unmount/mount or erase it, but when I want to transfer media to the card, I get the following error:
Transfer interrupted. Check your SD card for possibly transferred data.
Is this happening because the SD card is not from Sony? I hope there is a solution to this issue which does not involve rooting the phone - I don't really want to go that way.
Thanks for any help or tips.

Is this a new SD card or from old phone ?

May be there is a write protection, do one thing try to format using a computer, then again with your phone, then restart your phone and try transferring small amount of files...

Do a restart and try transfer again, if you are transferring large files sometimes error occur because of some BG apps...

I already did that many times. I did transfer a small amount of photos only but still the same problem occur. Is it because of the microsd?

Boot your device in safe mode and try moving data...

So we can know if its because of any third party app...

To enable safe mode

  1. Turn off the phone.
  2. Press and hold down the power key Power key of Sony Smartphone until the phone vibrates.
  3. Wait until the Xperia™ logotype disappears.
  4. Press and hold the volume down key until the phone vibrates. The phone then restarts in safe mode.

Note: To exit safe mode, restart the phone.

Thanks for your help. I'll try that way. So it isn't about the microsd?

Does xperia v support microsdhc?  or just normal microsd? microsdxc?

Does the class 4, class 6 or class 10 can cause these problem?

Class is all about transfer rate...

SDHC is the same thing as SD but HC stands for High Capacity...

First we will check the possibilities before changing memory card...

Another test you may want to try:

- shutdown the phone

- remove battery

- remove and re-insert SD card   (the SD card slot is a bit loose, and your card may not be in the optimal position)

- put battery back  (don't forget to press the back cover in all sealed points to ensure proper water insulation)

- boot the phone

Try again the transfer.

I hope this helps.
