Screen mirroring no audio

Hi,

Tried connecting my Xperia Z5 Dual to my TV with the Amazon Fire TV stick via screen mirroring. I got the images to display on the TV screen (though it crashes sometimes), however there is no audio coming from either the TV or the phone.

Any suggestions for fixing this issue?

What file are you watching?

If video, mirroring doens't support audio codec like dolby/dts...

when i connet my phone to my smart tv via Mircast 

the phone tell me i can use it only for phone video\music

not for 3rd apps \games (HDCP not supported) 

and my sis samsung work for games 

there's any workaorund?

Hi uliwooly,

I've also tried casting videos recorded with my Xperia phone via the built-in Album app - still no sound. Are there alternative casting apps you would recommend, apart from those that come with the phone?
