I got my tipo on 22nd September. But only today i noticed that the drag or hold on the touchscreen never works! Be it for deleting home screen icons or the design unlocker thing. Is this a common problem. Also i am from kolkata,India.And it seems like no sony service centera are in my city. What to do?

I bought my Tipo phone on 7th november, and 8th november the touch screen was not working properly. I was a laughing stocka t my work place when I showed my phone to my colleagues.
I went to the xperia service centre and they installed touch calliberation (they took some 15 min) after that my phone is working fine now.
I have also, called the customer support and registered a complaint against this, they said they will forward it to their supervisors (I doubt that).
My friend was planning to buy this phone, and now he decided against it

Go to consumer forum and complain against these fraudsters named sony... Useless people...

Hi, I got ma phone in october and had touch problem,in sony service centre they resolved it but after a month again message typing has become slower...If i install more apps, again touch is a problem...Why does again touch prob come after calibrating it..? help me out..
I think you should caliberate again. some apps corrupt calibration. The link is available in this thread. you can do it yourself.

hi guy.d i purchased mine in the phillippines, in less than 2 weeks, the same problem had occured,,, i went to the service center and they told me that it's a hardware problem.... more worst is that they dont have the part needed... and they dont know the time of delivery of the parts.... 2 more officemate f mine is experincing it... very disappointing from u SONY
Anyone have installed the new firmware of Tipo? The new firmware (11.0.A.6.5) resolve the problem with the touchscreen of not? Best Regards
