Tipo touchscreen problem

I got my tipo on 22nd September. But only today i noticed that the drag or hold on the touchscreen never works! Be it for deleting home screen icons or the design unlocker thing. Is this a common problem. Also i am from kolkata,India.And it seems like no sony service centera are in my city. What to do?

I went to the service center second time, it seems there is no other way. They took the mobile and said it would take 6 to 8 days. Hope this time they will rectify the problem permanently.

I gave my tipo to the service centre due to touch problem. they say its touchpad has to be replaced and its almost a month now, whenever I ask about the repair status they say that its pending.... how long is it going to take..... Sony service is really very poor......I regret buying this phone

Come on, if I had known I bought a Xperia .... I bought a Samsung mini .... at least the service is fast and pull updates almost every day here not as the last was:

I so regret that I bought this phone, I should have jus gone for a Samsung Galaxy Ace. Sony should learn something from samsung their support is the best and their software updates fix bugs unlike sony.

I just take it to vodafone to send it to sony ... I've been told to wait 20 days, I hope that when I give work well .... is the worst purchase I have done in my life .... sony and everything I have absolutely everything .... but it seems to me that apparently seen ... 'll buy other brands from now ... brands like samsung because if you have a problem when they solve ... daily updates etc ...
