What I'd like to know is can I tether the xperia tablet with my xperia z1 so that I can log onto the 3g mobile network to upload photos surf the net etc.
yes you can, you can use settings > more > tethering or use an app Xperia Link; with that said, as long as your network support this you should be able to do it
The tablet is the 4g model but that means another sim card for the tablet more money to fork out each month. Where if I can connect to the mobile network via the Z1 all the better.
Indeed your carrier/network, some networks don't allow tethering unless you pay extra, of course there are ways around that, by debranding your phone it should do it, if its branded that is
i purchased my xperia Z1 outright and it's unlocked as is the xperia tablet. I purchase my phones outright as my sim has unlimited data on the O2 network it's an old rolling contract and you would not get unlimited data now.
The Z1 has no network boot logos as for the tablet I don't know about it as I'll not get it until the middle of the week it's purchased just waiting on it being delivered. I'll post again when it arrives.
