An example is in the Firefox awesome bar (address/URL bar). Can anyone with any kind of Z5 please tell me if you do or don't experience that when you open the Firefox app and try to enter a website or search in the main address bar?
I can swipe keyboard in other areas of the Firefox app, including the settings and inside web pages, just not in the awesome bar.
My Samsung Galaxy S4 does not have this issue, it appears to be just with Sony Xperia (i've found other Xperia like Z1 and Z2 with same problem on Google searches, but no fixes.
This also happens in safe mode, has been ongoing since I got the phone, I actually had to return my phone and get another and the second phone also had the issue. If I open the settings, the gesture keyboard is enabled, and the keyboard layout looks identical to any other keyboard (it says Sony International Keyboard).
