same problem does in my phone Z1,give the solution
After upgarading to lollipop my xperia z phones xloud feature is missing. because of this sound is very low.
i upgraded my phone to lollipop 5.1.1, but still it's missing.
Rvmukeshg - Did you officially get 5.1 update Or you have rooted the phone ?
whatever method you have used, if xloud is not back in 5.1 then we just need to use the low volume phone. There is no solution.
Sony support on phone or on the forum only keep saying - "do software repair". Many people on the forum say that - sony says "you are the first one to report this". I had same response too. When people report that repair hasnt solved the issue, then their next option is "send the phone to us" as if it they dont know the problem.
My old Galaxy S2 has better loud speaker sound now.
So i just say to myself - Its just a phone. Make calls, receive calls, play some games, use headphones. (keeps me less annoyed for wasting £300)
I have problems with the speaker. when I make video calls, the other person hears me very badly, I hear fine, but not the person who spoke. They hear me very badly, as if the sound was compressed, as if I was away, noisy 😕
I used sony clear audio and equilizer mode. In both of the modes I could find Quality of audio is pitching high in peak and sometimes with good base and flat. This difference in audio output is occuring periodically each time I m listening to audio files.
I m not getting any problem with Xperia Sola (Icecream sandwich) which is running by Sony Walkman. I think while upgrading from Sony Walkman to latest Sony Music will be the major cause for this issue. Really providing such "failure upgrades" makes SONY a worst service when it is prevailling with their high range products in the market. Customers to think on their investment before buying such brands.
This is not cause of lollipop update, but because of sony music upgrade.
