Sony Z Ultra problem

my Sony Z ultra have  problem.

the screen displays as blank, sometimes displaying green lines across the screen.

Its a common problem called Sleep of Death. I guess you need to speak to your dealer and get the set replaced.

Before looking at returning it I would strongly advise running an update/repair to at least rule out a software issue:

1. Download the PC Companion software from http://www.sonymobile.com/gb/tools/pc-companion/
and install it on your PC.
2. Install and open PC Companion then select Support Zone.
4. Phone Software Update.
5. Start.
6. Repair Phone
7. Continue
8. Accept data removal
9. Next
10. Wait for prepare
11. Select Phone
12. Follow the connection steps

Seriously! I also have this problem! Sony Software team, please keep it up! This is very annoying!
