Text messaging problems.

My phone sends a message to one number and receives the reply on another in separate conversations for the same phone but it appears as too different numbers. Why is this? It has only just started and I could text this number fine a few days ago. How do I fix it?

that's odd but it delete the contact and add/save the contact again but not the number that you send it to but the number you received the texts from.

Thanks for the reply but that was the 1st thing I tried but the phone says 'could not send' above the message on all messages I try to send to that number so the only way to text that person is to send it to the number they gave me but I get replies from them from the other number.

that's quite odd, is it a regular SMS or MMS?

Just normal SMS but if I call the number I recieve messages from it says number is not reconized but if I call the number I can send texts on it works fine. I can't figure out why it has done this because I have been texting this number I recieve the messages from fine since I got the phone.

you could just repair your phone or back up your phone and reset it
