SONY XPERIA U TOUCH SCREEN PROBLEM

My 3 weeks old sony xperia u has started to lag a bit

and the touch screen has lost responsiveness!!

typing is very difficult now

please help!!

yes it is in warranty period. and there is not a single scrate on phone. the problem starts without any harm.

i called sony guys on tall free number and they said it will take more few days. I am very disappointed with sony support.even my brother in law have xperia tipo and he is facing some problem in GPRS. he went to service center and they replied to hand over the phone for 15 days to change the mother board (without testing any issue or checking the phone).

I will never buy sony product again. this is my first and last experience with sony support.

I will wait more 3 days as they said, and if they will not short out my

problem then i will legal action against them.

you can go forward with strict action if they are behaving bad with you. you can also contact the Sony employees here with your details.

i wonder what they whould do if someone have problem and dont have phone in warranty.

do they take that much time in repiaring the phone with cash payment?

I just got my phone back from service station after a month and they have changed the pcb and the touch screen both, now working fine but lets see for how much time...........

nope, i asked same but they refused, warranty will be on purchase date only...........:smileysad:

i too am having a strong feeling that this is due to humidity or something to do weather.

this is not due to humidity or software bug, this is a serous hardware issue.  I had the same issue with my xperia u , lag in touchscreen responsiveness especially when you type messages, playing games like temple run etc.. i gave it for repair at a sony service center , they replaced the pcb, touch screen display and now my phone works perfectly ( although it took 35 days to get the phone repaired!)
