Hello, I have a SW2 in what seems to be an update loop.
My current firmware is 1.0.B.3.46/1.0.A.3.8
Smartwatch app says no update available but if I connect to Sony Update Service it says there is an update.
I update and switch on, pair with my Xperia Z running stock 4.3 latest firmware.
Then the smartwatch app updates it and I seem to be back on this firmware.
I have recently received my watch back from warranty repair for another issue but while it was there I mentioned about this issue and they said they updated it.
Again when I connect to my phone the smartwatch app updates.
Can anyone else confirm that this is and maybe if someone has resolved this

It's similar to this issue HERE but the smartwatch app says no update.

Actually my Sony Update Service has just updated and it doesn't actually list the SW2 anymore could someone also confirm that also?

I think your right about the SmartWatch 2 not appearing - Just checked this myself - the only two I see are the
SmartWatch MN2 and Live View MN800
As for your other issue - It could be possible that there is redundant cache on your phone which has yet to be processed so All I can think of doing is to go to Setting then Apps and swipe to All then locate Both Smart Connect and SmartWatch 2 apps and on both select Clear Cache and Data and possibly Uninstall updates then perform a reboot and re-test

I don't think it is that as since it has been for warranty repair I have installed firmware from scratch (on my phone) so when my watch came back today and paired it prompted to install the smartwatch app.
EDIT
In fact after closer inspection I also have a new SW2 unit so this is 2 x SW2 watches that have had this which points to current firmware or smartwatch app
