SP performing extremely bad.

Hello,

I've owned an SP since early January. It had moodswings ever since. At first it was fast, then got  horribly slow and after 4.3 update + factory reset it got super fast again. However now, it's  more buggy than ever. 

>apps crash (even with only a few/one open at the time, and they're pretty light apps like Whatsapp/snapchat/etc)

>laggy performance in general (again, even with lots of RAM available)

>randomly shuts down a LOT (4 times last week!)

>Walkman literally doesn't work anymore (I press the play button, skip button, whatever: there is NO response. It also doesn't show my latest downloaded music anymore)

>can't shut it off without resetting the battery cause the screen freezes

and the list goes on.. these are the most annoying bugs. I heard about a new update but I can't download it yet (I'm from Holland if it matters.. PC Companion  says it's up to date). I already factory reset it once and I don't feel like doing it  every **bleep** month. I'm paying quite a lot  for t his phone each month. It has extremely good reviews but  mine just doesn't perform as well as it should. 

Does anyone have a solution?

A lot of what you're describing sounds like RAM management - I know you say there appears to be lots of RAM available, but is that the case when an app has just shut itself down?

Try installing Greenify - that may help.

The new .201 update is already out - it shouldn't be too long before that reaches you too. I just got it today, and although it's a bit early to say, theRAM management looks much improved. When streaming a video over wifi with Mx Player I would have around 50-100MB left and it would crash every 20 minutes or so - now it's more like 400MB free...
