Sony experia sp drama.

Hello everyone Slightly_smiling_Face i'm having very bad dram,a's with my sp phone.

Well yesterday i had to change my screen lock from a pin number to a password.

My son has the capacity to memorise number's lol.

Well my drama is, i changed the screen lock to a password which worked great until this morning .when i entered the password...."password incorrect" please help asap ive tried everything even hard reboot -doesn't work etc. even going down to my ee-shop -useless i must say.

 anyone has a rock solid solution to my woe's please help.

my data is all backed up via sony companion.

Hi and welcome to the community! Since you're new please be sure that you have checked out our Discussion guidelines.

In this case you need to perform a software repair on your unit. This can be done via PC Companion.

In PC Companion you press start on Support Zone > Start on Update the phone/tablet software > Repair phone/tablet (the blue clickable link in the message) > Follow these steps without having your device connected to the PC.

Follow the instruction that appears in the program and do not connect your device until this guide tells you how to connect it.

i there ive already tried the software update etc.

Trust me ive done everything i really cannot access my phone at all

Do one thing, save all data, bring it to a Sony Service Center, it will be there for a week, once its done you can take it back Slightly_smiling_Face

When you perform this software repair, the latest software will be reinstalled. The phone will not have any pattern lock or similar and the phone will be reset to factory settings. Thereby, you need to configure your phone once again.
