Sony Ericsson split! :(

Recently heard about the SE JV split..would like to know how it is gonna impact the new and existing customers.

i was planning on buying a Neo V but the split has caused me to change my mind...thought maybe the split will make the warranty void .

P.S I live in india..its always bad news here when companies of their calibre decide to split.

Nothing will happen with your warranty. As I said above the separation will not have any bad affect in terms off support or service. You can still buy SE products and get the same warranty,support and service as before.

hello Johan,

I am also having the same question of whether to buy sony ericsson phones after the SE split. Will sony also provide hardware support to the SE xperia phones in case of physical damage if parts need to be changed in case of accident. Because what i came to know that Sony is going to discontinue all the SE xperia phones and only provide service and products of 2012 xperia lineup. Please do reply ASAP. Regards
